Dancing for Birth

Work in harmony with your own birth instincts.

Get into your birth rhythm. Since it feels so good to move during labor it’s a no-brainer, and it actually helps you get out of your “thinking brain” and into your “feeling brain” which allows you to follow your body’s wisdom. You’re also gaining other important birth benefits by doing these moves. You’re utilizing gravity to bring your baby down and out. The hip action mobilizes your pelvis so baby can fully access all the usable space. The moves open your pelvic outlet for ease of birth―by a lot!  They guide your baby into an optimal position. They also release muscle tension, which helps you avoid the fear-tension-pain cycle.

Dancing For Birth™ is definitely your ‘trifecta’ of birth preparation: feel-good prenatal fitness, childbirth education, and celebration of pregnancy, birth, and parenting, all rolled into a weekly 90-minute class that supports you from preconception through postpartum. This childbirth education and pre/post natal fitness fusion was created by USA’s National Birth Hero and Mom of four, DFB Founder, Stephanie Larson.
